Online Giving
Everything we have has come from you, and we give you what you gave us first... - 1 Chronicles 29: 14b |
"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace" (1 Pt 4:10)
In the U.S. Bishop's Pastoral Letter on Stewardship, we read "as Christian stewards, we receive God's gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly in justice with others, and return them with increase to the Lord." Throughout the Gospel, we are called to be good stewards of our time, talent and treasures. As good stewards of our treasures, parishioners are encouraged to contribute to the general operations of the parish and the many programs it provides to the community through weekly offerings. There are two forms in which these contributions can be made: the regular and special offerings at all the weekend Masses or through our Online Giving program. Online Giving: As a convenient option for your offerings, we provide a secure method of electronic Online Giving through My Own Giving services. This enables a parishioner to make donations on a regular basis by direct payments debited from one's bank account or by charge to a personal credit card. Envelope Giving: If you wish to use the traditional envelope to make your regular contribution during the offertory collection at Mass, you may register at the Parish Office to receive your assigned offertory envelopes. "In every way I have shown you that by hard work of that sort we must help the weak, and keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus who himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’" (Acts 20:35) |
